A.P. Moeller-Maersk has appointed 48 year old Trond Westlie as the company’s new financial director who will assume the position on the 1st of January of 2010.
Earlier Trond Westlie occupied the position of executive vice-president and financial director in Norwegian company Telenor Group. “Trond had a good reputation as a financial director in Telenor as well as in Aker Kv?rner. He showed good leadership and professional skills in both companies. He has professional experience with industrial assets, he has worked in off-shore and energy sectors, as well as in shipbuilding and sea shipping industries. Trond possesses major experience, and we are looking forward to seeing him in A.P. Moeller-Maersk Group” - said company CEO Niels Andersen. “A.P.
